Pharmaceutical Companies and corporations from all over the world are breaching the intellectual property rights of many indigenous peoples.

They examine the Traditional Knowledge of these peoples, identify potentially-valuable genetic and chemical material and patent it. In so doing they deny the owners of these materials the right to trade with them - and any benefit from their sale.

EarthWorks works in partnership with the indigenous peoples, both teaching and encouraging the uses of Neem - and buying it directly from them.
